Attitude from Pakistan: TIIF serves as an effective platform for strengthening business ties, building mutual trust and advancing investment decisions

ISLAMABAD, June 17. /Dunyo IA/. Muhammad Qasim bin Talha, Director of the Pakistani company “Osaka Batteries”, who is participating in the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum in the capital of Uzbekistan, shared his insights on the forum with Dunyo Information Agency:

- As a representative of the Pakistani business community, it is a great honor for me to participate in the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF). This prestigious event not only showcases the investment potential of Uzbekistan, but also clearly demonstrates that Central Asia is emerging as a new economic hub.

Notably, the forum has brought together thousands of investors, international financial institutions, government representatives, and major corporations from various countries around the world onto a single platform.

For Pakistan, Uzbekistan is a strategic partner and a vital bridge for accessing the markets of Central Asia. In recent years, the economic reforms implemented in Uzbekistan, the liberalization of the investment climate, the privatization of state assets, alongside initiatives to enter international capital markets, have significantly enhanced the country's investment attractiveness. The plans of the Government of Uzbekistan to bring the National Investment Fund onto international markets further solidify investor confidence.

Within the framework of the forum, we will participate in discussions on industrial cooperation, energy, transport and logistics connectivity, the digital economy, agriculture, and green technologies. It is particularly gratifying that new opportunities are unfolding for the development of transport corridors between Pakistan and Uzbekistan, increasing trade volumes and implementing joint investment projects.

Today, deepening economic integration between Central and South Asia holds strategic importance for both regions. In this context, the Tashkent International Investment Forum serves as an effective platform for strengthening business ties, enhancing mutual trust and making concrete investment decisions.

I am confident that the outcomes of this forum and the agreements reached will serve the development of not only the economy of Uzbekistan, but also the entire region. Pakistani investors stand ready to expand long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation with Uzbekistan.

In conclusion, it should be noted that Uzbekistan's open economic policy, favorable investment climate, and commitment to regional cooperation position the country as a reliable and promising partner for international investors.
