ТАSHKENT, June 17. /Dunyo IA/.  An official welcome ceremony took place at the Kuksaroy residence for the President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier who arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our State, an honour guard was lined up on the square in front of the residence. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev warmly welcomed the distinguished guest and invited him to the podium.

The national anthems of Uzbekistan and Germany were played. The heads of state inspected the honour guard and introduced members of their official delegations.

Following the ceremony and a joint photo session, high-level talks began.
