ТАSHKENT, July 22. /Dunyo IA/. Today, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Olimjon Abdullaev met with Saad Nasser Abdullah Abu Haimed, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, during the meeting, parties discussed the current state and prospects of Uzbekistan – Saudi Arabia relations and exchanged views on further strengthening cooperation in the consular and legal sphere, creating more favourable conditions for citizens and expanding practical cooperation in the field of labour migration.
Parties emphasized their mutual interest in introducing digital solutions, improving the efficiency of consular services and further developing cooperation in the area of labour migration.
Meeting also covered a number of initiatives aimed at enhancing bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia. The sides agreed to further elaborate these initiatives in practical terms with the participation of the relevant competent authorities.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to consistently advancing mutually beneficial cooperation and maintaining regular dialogue.
