Deputy khokim of Fergana region appointed Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Belarus

MINSK, July 27. /Dunyo IA/. Newly appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Uzbekistan Nuriddin Mamajonov, has arrived in the capital of Belarus, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Prior to this, he served as the Deputy Hokim of Fergana Region – Head of the Department of Investments and Foreign Trade. He is 45 years old. He graduated from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and the Central Bohemia University (Czech Republic). He holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree from the European Institute of Applied Science and Management (Prague).

He has served in various positions within the Ministries of Justice and Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, at the Embassy in Germany, and the General Consulate in Frankfurt am Main. In 2022–2023, he worked as a Counselor for Trade and Economic Affairs at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the PRC, and as the First Deputy Head of the Department of Economic Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Nuriddin Mamajonov succeeds Rakhmatulla Nazarov, who headed the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Minsk from 2024 to 2026.
