TASHKENT, September 15. /IA “Dunyo”/. On October 19, the International Educational Forum “Global Forum on Education: The Foundation of Building Tourism” will be held at the Silk Road tourist center in Samarkand, reports a correspondent of the "Dunyo" information agency.

According to uzbektourism.uz, the event is planned to be held within the framework of the 25th General Assembly of the UN World Tourism Organization (GA25 UNWTO).

The International Educational Forum is one of the main events of the UNWTO General Assembly, which will bring together more than 1,200 domestic and foreign specialists and experts in the field of tourism from more than 30 countries. During the forum, experts will discuss current issues related to innovation in the fields of education, science and tourism.

The event program will include the presentation of the UNWTO Ulysses Awards, which supports achievements and initiatives in the fields of tourism and education.

The Ministry of Ecology, the Committee on Tourism and the Institute of Tourism Development under the Committee invite scientists, specialists and experts in the field of education, science and innovation to take an active part in the work of the Forum.
