President of Uzbekistan arrives in France on a state visit

TASHKENT, March 12. /Dunyo IA/. At the invitation of the President of France Emmanuel Macron the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has arrived in Paris on a state visit, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our state, the leader of Uzbekistan was met at the plane by the Minister of National Education, Higher Education, and Scientific Research of France, Elisabeth Borne, the Commander of the Military District of Paris, General Loic Mizon, and other official representatives.
At the honorary pavilion of Orly International Airport, the flags of both countries were raised in honour of the distinguished guest, and an official honour guard was in place.
At the residence where the delegation of Uzbekistan is staying, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was warmly greeted by a group of compatriots studying, working, and conducting research in France. The Head of our state had a heartfelt conversation with them, wishing success in their academic and research endeavours.
The main events of the visit are scheduled for March 12.
As part of the program, high-level Uzbek-French talks will take place at the Élysée Palace.
The Head of our state will also hold a meeting with UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay and a roundtable discussion with representatives of leading French companies and banks.
