ТАSHKENT, September 15. /Dunyo IA/. Today, during his visit to the Republic of Korea, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Kim Bum-ho, Acting President of “Incheon International Airport Corporation”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our State, parties discussed progress on projects to modernize Urgench International Airport and construct a new international airport in Tashkent.

Plans by “Incheon International Airport Corporation” to open an office in Tashkent were supported. It was proposed to establish, on its basis, a center of excellence for airport management, digitalization and personnel training.

Korean side emphasized its readiness to continue actively participating in joint projects, introduce advanced practices and technologies in airport management and expand its long-term partnership with Uzbekistan.
