ТАSHKENT, October 26. /Dunyo IA/.  Today, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who is in Uzbekistan on a working visit, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our State, at the beginning of the meeting, Leaders noted with satisfaction that active high-level dialogue and consistent efforts have elevated Uzbekistan-Qatar relations to the level of strategic partnership.

They expressed confidence that these close ties will contribute to further strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

The sides discussed the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level. They agreed to further expand the scope of joint projects in the trade, economic, investment, social and humanitarian spheres.

Leaders also exchanged views on key global and regional issues.
