President of Uzbekistan meets with Active and Enterprising Youth

• 174ТАSHKENT, June 30. /Dunyo IA/. Today, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with active and enterprising young people from across the country at a special exhibition held on the occasion of Youth Day at the Olympic Village, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the press service of the Head of our State, Head of State reviewed projects spanning mahalla development, environmental protection, startups, engineering, and the promotion of reading culture, and spoke personally with the young people behind these initiatives.
Islombek Muhammadjonov, youth leader of the “Obod” mahalla in Fergana district, trained 600 of his peers in modern professions and foreign languages through the “Obod Ta'lim” educational center he founded. He noted that he had succeeded in bringing the center's activities to the global market by signing international contracts with leading German companies. As a result, the mahalla has become free from youth unemployment and crime.
The initiatives of Gulira’no Mamirova, coordinator of the Yashil Tashabbuslar Foundation and a master’s student at Green University, were also highlighted. Her work in developing environmental and social projects, as well as startups in the field of green innovation, attracted particular attention from the Head of State.
President highly praised the creative achievements of Odinakhon Ma’murjonova, winner of the “Most Original Idea” nomination in the painting competition, as well as the determination of Chinora Gulomova, who, despite living with a physical limitations, is implementing the “Read and Develop” project for children studying at home. The relevant officials were instructed to provide systematic support for their initiatives aimed at strengthening an inclusive environment in society.
Exhibition platform dedicated to startups, entrepreneurship, and vocational education showcased the intellectual potential of the country’s young men and women, capable of competing successfully at the international level.
Asilbek Ashurov, a graduate of the Presidential School and a student at the University of Chicago, founded the "Makon AI" startup at the age of 18 and developed an AI-powered platform for SAT and AP exam preparation.
He noted that to date, his startup has attracted $380,000 in investments from over 100,000 clients and investors across the United States, the Middle East, and North Africa, and the project's value is estimated at $3 million.
The achievements of Sardorbek Rakhmatulloev, the first participant from Uzbekistan in the program of the world's leading accelerator, Y Combinator, who founded a startup with annual revenue of several thousand dollars in the United States and gained experience working at Meta Superintelligence, were recognized as a success of the national startup ecosystem.
President emphasized that the widespread implementation of such high-tech projects in the country, as well as support for young entrepreneurs in entering foreign markets, will remain priority areas of state policy.
Presentations in the field of engineering and innovation also highlighted students' achievements in artificial intelligence and robotics.
Biloliddin Ismoilov, a student at Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent and national drone racing champion, noted that, as an engineer, he is involved in the development and improvement of domestic anti-drone systems.
The successful “New Generation Cars” project by Aizada Asanova, a student at Nukus State Technical University and a resident of the Nukus Youth Technopark, also reflects the dynamic development of engineering schools in the regions. The Head of State noted the need to introduce these innovative developments across various industries.
Another key theme of the meeting was the achievements of the younger generation in culture, education, and the promotion of reading.
The achievements of Nigina Fakhriddinova, winner of international beauty and art competitions, and young musician Amina Avazova were highlighted for their contribution to strengthening the international prestige of national culture.
Digital projects aimed at promoting reading among the public were also presented. Sirojiddin Olimov, head of the “Mutolaa” project, reported that the mobile application he developed has been downloaded nearly 5 million times, while the number of books read through the application has exceeded 18 million.
Nilufar Ergasheva, recipient of the Zulfiya State Prize, author of the book “Yashil Soz” (Green Word), and participant in the “Soz” (Word) project, proposed developing a literary map of Uzbekistan to promote literary tourism, as well as organizing large-scale poetry, music, and literary evenings, along with other cultural programs, at the Burhoniddin Marginoni Scientific, Educational and Tourist Complex.
During a sincere dialogue with the young participants, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev supported the promising projects and initiatives they put forward.
