BAYSUN, May 2. /Dunyo IA/. Today, the "Tandir Fest" festival will take place for the first time at the "Boysun Bahori" tourist complex in the Baysun district of Surkhandarya region, reports Dunyo IA correspondent from the event.

The event is organized by the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan in collaboration with the administration of Surkhandarya region.

As part of the festival, a special press tour will also be held, where journalists and participants will be introduced to the region’s unique tourist attractions.

"Tandir Fest" aims to promote national values, rich culinary traditions, folk crafts, and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan. Representatives from 15 regions of the region have been invited to showcase their traditional cuisine and crafts.

The festival will run until May 4.
