Uzbekistan represented at Osaka International Friendship Festival: cultural heritage and fashion at center of attention

OSAKA, November 25. /Dunyo IA/. Osaka prefecture in Japan has hosted the International Friendship Festival, which brought together representatives of 37 countries, reports Dunyo IA correspondent from the site of the event.

The participants of the event demonstrated the cultural heritage, tourism potential and historical sights of their countries. Uzbekistan's stand, prepared with the support of our country's Embassy in Japan, stood out among them.

The Uzbek stand attracted more than 100 guests, including representatives of Japanese organizations and associations, and became one of the most visited at the festival. The guests could familiarize themselves with the rich cultural and tourist heritage of Uzbekistan, sights of the historical cities of Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva, as well as handicraft traditions of the country. National fabrics, ceramics and jewelry that embodied the skill and creative spirit of Uzbek artisans attracted the attention of the guests.

One of the most anticipated events of the festival was a fashion show, where Uzbekistan also took an active part. Traditional patterns, bright colors and richness of textiles highlighted the uniqueness of Uzbek culture, which was admired by both the Japanese audience and foreign guests.

The Osaka International Friendship Festival once again emphasized the importance of cultural diplomacy in bringing peoples closer together. Uzbekistan with its rich history, culture and hospitality left a lasting impression on all participants of the festival.
