Austria shows interest in recruiting skilled agricultural professionals from Uzbekistan

VIENNA, May 8. /Dunyo IA/. Ambassador of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Ibragimov met with Nikolaus Berlakovich, President of the Chamber of Agriculture of the federal state of Burgenland, Austria and Klaus Wölfer, Senior Expert Consultant at the international law firm “LANSKY, GANZGER, GOETH + Partner” (LGP), reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues regarding the recruitment of qualified workers from Uzbekistan for Austria's agricultural sector. In particular, they considered employment opportunities for specialists in fruit and vegetable cultivation, processing of agricultural products and winemaking.
Nikolaus Berlakovich emphasized the Austrian side's interest in developing practical cooperation with Uzbekistan in this area. Furthermore, he expressed interest in studying Uzbekistan's experience in dairy production, including methods for breeding and caring for cattle imported from Austria.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue the dialogue on expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in the agricultural sector, training qualified personnel and attracting them to Austria's agricultural industry.
