In her address, the Queen emphasized the vital importance of science and intercultural dialogue in the modern world, highlighting the necessity of preserving scientific heritage and passing it on to future generations.

During the plenary sessions, keynote presentations, and three thematic breakout sessions, participants conducted an in-depth review of the modern interpretation of the Islamic scientific heritage, the contribution of Muslim scholars to world civilization, and the role of this legacy in contemporary global scientific processes. Special attention was paid to the integration of historical scientific traditions with modern technologies, including digital transformation and artificial intelligence.

Within the framework of the event, Memoranda of Cooperation were signed between Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), of which Raja Zarith Sofiah serves as Chancellor, and the Center for Islamic Civilization, as well as several leading scientific and educational institutions of Uzbekistan, including the International Islamic Academy, the Imam Maturidi International Scientific Research Center, the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, and the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.

Furthermore, Malaysian side announced a significant humanitarian initiative to donate 20,000 copies of the Holy Qur’an, published by the “Nasyrul Qur’an” Center, to the “Vaqf” Public Charity Foundation. This initiative was highly acclaimed as a symbol of spiritual closeness and mutual respect between the two nations.
