ISTANBUL, May 14. /Dunyo IA/. Representatives of higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan took part in the international innovation festival “SOSYALFEST–2026” organized by Istanbul and Karabük universities, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event was also attended by leading universities, scientists, and authors of innovative projects from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

Uzbekistan was represented at the festival by the Andijan State Medical Institute, “Alfraganus” University, “Renessans” University, “Oriental” University, “Oxus” University, Uzbekistan Business and Science University (UBS) and the Andijan State Institute of Foreign Languages.

During the forum, innovative developments, scientific projects, and achievements in the field of international cooperation in science, education and modern technologies were demonstrated.

Within the framework of the festival, scientific and practical competitions, presentations of innovative projects, seminars, and conferences with the participation of international experts were held. The participants discussed promising areas for the development of artificial intelligence, digital technologies, the quality of education, and scientific research. The reports and presentations by the representatives of Uzbekistan aroused great interest among foreign specialists.

According to the results of the festival, the Uzbek participants became winners in a number of nominations. A student of “Oxus” University took first place in two categories simultaneously.

Diplomats from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan also participated in the evaluation of projects as members of the jury. Within the framework of the forum, sociological models were presented in the areas of “Economic Development of the Turkic World”, “Cooperation in Education”, “Socio-Cultural Cooperation” and “Politics and Governance”, aimed at strengthening ties between the member states of the Organization of Turkic States.
