Rich cultural heritage and tourism potential of Uzbekistan showcased in China

GUANGZHOU, April 9. /Dunyo IA/. The Consulate General of Uzbekistan, together with fellow compatriots studying at higher educational institutions in Guangdong Province, organized the Uzbekistan National Pavilion at the "International Culture Day" festival held in Shenzhen, China, reports the correspondent of Dunyo IA.

The event was attended by representatives from Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, Russia, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, and other countries.
Participants had the opportunity to explore Uzbekistan’s rich cultural and historical heritage, as well as its tourism potential. Special attention was given to historical monuments in the famous cities along the ancient Silk Road, such as Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva, as well as programs developed in various tourism sectors, including cultural, ecological, gastronomic, and others.
Exhibits of traditional Uzbek crafts, applied arts, sweets, and dried fruits were well received by the visitors. The Uzbekistan National Pavilion became the most vibrant and frequently visited spot at the festival and was awarded the "Best Design" nomination by the event organizers.
