The shooting at Brown University of the USA claimed the life of an student of Uzbekistan

ТASHKENT, December 15. /Dunyo IA/. As a result of a shooting on the evening of December 13th, an Uzbek student, Muhammad Aziz Umurzakov, was killed during an exam at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
“We express our deepest condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased Uzbek student, Muhammad Aziz Umurzakov following the tragic shooting that occurred on the grounds of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, USA, - wrote Akhror Burkhanov, the press secretary of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, on his telegram-channel. - The loss of innocent lives in this tragedy is a profound sorrow for all of us”.
Representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the United States are in constant contact with the family of the deceased and are working closely with the relevant U.S. authorities on all related matters.
According to the BBC, at least two people were killed and eight others seriously injured in a shooting during exams at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Authorities reported that an additional person sustained minor injuries.
The shooting took place on the evening of December 13th, in the Barus & Holley Engineering Sciences building at Brown University, during ongoing exams.
U.S. President, Donald Trump was informed of the incident. In a post on the social media platform Truth Social, he stated that FBI agents are responding to the scene.
Brown University is a member of the Ivy League and enrolls more than 10,400 students. The Barus & Holley building houses over 100 laboratories, dozens of lecture halls, and administrative offices.
