Citizens of Uzbekistan in the Primorsky Krai of Russia assisted in returning home

VLADIVOSTOK, July 16. /Dunyo IA/.  General Consulate of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with the Migration Agency, assisted in returning home a family of fellow citizens who found themselves in a difficult life situation, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

A citizen of Uzbekistan, Kh.U., temporarily residing in Vladivostok, approached the consular office with a request to provide assistance to her and her spouse, O.A., in returning to Uzbekistan due to a lack of funds and a difficult financial situation.

As established during the review of the application, citizen Kh.U. arrived in the Primorsky Krai in 2025 to work alongside her spouse and was engaged in various temporary jobs. However, on March 30, 2026, O.A. suffered a severe head injury as a result of a fall and became bedridden, losing the ability to move independently.

Due to the need for constant care for her spouse, Kh.U. was forced to stop working. As a result, funds for renting temporary housing, food, treatment and purchasing necessary medicines became insufficient.

Taking into account the current situation, with the assistance of the General Consulate and at the expense of the Migration Fund, airline tickets were purchased for the compatriots, as well as for the accompanying doctor dispatched from Uzbekistan.

On July 15th, citizens were sent on a flight along the route Vladivostok–Moscow–Tashkent and safely returned to their homeland.
