New born child repatriated from Belarus to Uzbekistan with Diplomatic Assistance

MINSK, July 14. /Dunyo IA/. A new born child of a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan has been successfully returned to the homeland through the proactive assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Belarus, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Previously, during a monitoring visit by an Uzbek delegation to Pre-trial Detention Center No. 1 (Sizo No. 1) in the Minsk region, an Uzbek compatriot, identified as R.R., formally requested practical administrative and consular assistance to facilitate the return of her unborn child to Uzbekistan and to arrange for the infant to be placed under the legal guardianship of close relatives.

Following the birth of the child, the requisite legal procedures and consular formalities were completed in the shortest possible time through the coordinated interaction of competent state authorities, fully facilitated by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Belarus. As a result, all administrative documentation necessary for the repatriation of the child to Uzbekistan was duly executed.

In early July, the new born was officially transferred into the custody of close relatives and successfully arrived in Uzbekistan.
