Uzbekistan’s historical and cultural heritage showcased in Belgium and the Netherlands

BRUSSELS–AMSTERDAM, April 21. /Dunyo IA/. The Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Benelux countries, in cooperation with Karshi State University, held presentations titled "Uzbekistan’s Priceless Heritage" at the University of Mons in Belgium and the World Horti Center in the Netherlands, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The events brought together representatives of the academic and scientific communities of both countries, students and professors from leading universities, local media, and members of the Uzbek diaspora residing in Belgium and the Netherlands.
The presentations highlighted Uzbekistan’s role in the development of human civilization, its rich cultural and spiritual legacy, as well as the upcoming 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, scheduled to be held in Samarkand in 2025.
Guests were treated to a concert program, an exhibition of traditional applied arts, and informational materials on the tourism potential of Uzbekistan’s Kashkadarya region.
The events generated significant interest within local communities in Belgium and the Netherlands and were covered by local media outlets.
