Emirati company to study water infrastructure modernization projects in Uzbekistan

ABU DHABI, July 16. /Dunyo IA/. Diplomats of Uzbekistan met with the Acting Director General of the Emirati company “TAQA Water Solutions”, Dr. Nader Assad Bin Taher, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the negotiations, the sides discussed promising projects on the modernization of water supply and sanitation systems, the introduction of modern technologies, and expanding the population's access to quality services. Issues of effective water resources management, infrastructure development and expanding cooperation using public-private partnership mechanisms were also reviewed.
Particular attention was paid to the application of the company's advanced experience in Uzbekistan. “TAQA Water Solutions”, founded in 2005, today treats more than 1.3 million cubic meters of wastewater per day, manages sewerage networks with a length of about 13,000 km, operates more than 40 treatment facilities, as well as over 260 pumping and lifting stations.
Following the results of the meeting, the sides agreed to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation and continue practical dialogue on the implementation of joint projects.
