NEW YORK, June 18. /Dunyo IA/. A meeting was held at the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in New York between Gulnoza Ismailova, Executive Director of the "El-Yurt Umidi" Foundation, and Uzbek scholarship holders studying at several prestigious U.S. universities, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the open and constructive dialogue, participants discussed the foundation’s current activities, prospects for its further development, and specific tasks related to the training of highly qualified national personnel abroad.

Gulnoza Ismailova briefed attendees on the goals of her working visit to the United States, which includes meetings with government officials, the leadership of leading universities, and dialogue with international partners on expanding academic and scientific cooperation.

Special attention was given to the foundation’s priority areas within the broader context of Uzbekistan’s ongoing reforms aimed at supporting talented youth and establishing a sustainable system for training specialists equipped with modern knowledge and competencies.

The scholarship recipients, in turn, expressed their willingness to actively contribute to the foundation’s initiatives in supporting new generations of students.

They also reaffirmed their commitment to the goals and objectives of the large-scale reforms being carried out under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, particularly in the field of youth policy and the formation of a highly professional national talent pool, including among the graduates of "El-Yurt Umidi" Foundation programs.
