BUDAPEST, June 30. /Dunyo IA/.  Ambassador of Uzbekistan Oybek Shakhavdinov, has held a high-level meeting with the Minister of Defence of Hungary Romulusz Ruszin-Szendi, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the negotiations, the parties deliberated on the current state and prospective horizons of the Uzbek-Hungarian bilateral cooperation in the defense sphere, while extensively exchanging views on the further expansion of strategic interaction between the respective defence authorities of the two nations.

Particular emphasis was directed toward the prospective horizons of cooperation in the spheres of the defence industry and military education, alongside the execution of joint initiatives of mutual strategic interest.

Consequent to the proceedings, the parties reaffirmed their mutual commitment to maintaining a constructive dialogue and agreed to sustain regular contacts with the objective of further reinforcing the Uzbek-Hungarian strategic partnership in the defence sector.
