Uzbek students visit Oman as part of educational exchange program

MUSCAT, May 5. /Dunyo IA/. From April 9 to 16, students from Tashkent’s "NovaSchool" visited Muscat as part of an established partnership with the Omani school "MySchool", reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Earlier, in February, the Women Entrepreneurs Forum was held in Muscat, with the participation of business leaders and representatives from educational institutions in both Uzbekistan and Oman. The Omani "MySchool" expressed interest in collaborating with the Uzbek "NovaSchool". During the forum, the idea of establishing cooperation between the two schools was proposed. The main goal of the initiative was to promote Uzbek culture, history, and achievements in the field of education, as well as to develop tourism and cultural ties between the two countries.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to create an exchange program between the schools. The program will involve 7-day visits for students from both countries, based on a grant.

During the trip, the Uzbek students presented the culture, history, and traditions of Uzbekistan, as well as familiarized themselves with Oman's cultural heritage, building friendly relationships with their peers.

A reciprocal visit by "MySchool" students is planned for the end of this year.
