Prospects for cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus in the field of forestry discussed in Minsk

MINSK, April 18. /Dunyo IA/. Ambassador of Uzbekistan Rahmatulla Nazarov met with Minister of Forestry of Belarus Alexander Kulik to discuss the progress of agreements reached at the highest level in 2024, reports a Dunyo correspondent.
During the meeting, both sides noted significant positive changes in Uzbek-Belarusian relations, particularly the existing potential and opportunities for expanding bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
The Minister highlighted ongoing projects with Uzbek partners and expressed satisfaction with the increase in mutual trade volumes. At the same time, he emphasized the need to diversify the range of goods, establish connections between forestry enterprises and relevant agencies in both countries, and intensify joint efforts in new areas of cooperation.
Additionally, both parties expressed mutual interest in beneficial cooperation in developing hunting tourism in Uzbekistan.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize online negotiations involving officials from both sides to further discuss these issues in detail.
