TASHKENT, August 5. /Dunyo IA/. From September 8th to 10th, 17th Central Asian International Textile Machinery Exhibition CAITME 2026 will be held at the “Uzexpocentre” NEC in Tashkent, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Exhibition will occupy all exhibition areas and once again open the Global Textile Days Week.
CAITME is a major event for Central Asia's textile and garment industries and, according to an independent audit, the largest specialist exhibition of its kind in the CIS. The exhibition plays an important role in equipping and uprading the region's textile and garment sector, helping manufacturers increase productivity, adopt advanced technologies and strengthen their competitiveness in the international markets.
This year, the exhibition will bring together 250 companies and brands from 17 countries. Germany will be represented by its National Pavilion, while companies from Austria, India, Italy, China, Turkiye, the USA, Switzerland and other leading textile-producing countries will also take part. For visitors' convenience, CAITME 2026 will be organised into dedicated thematic sections covering cotton ginning and spinning technologies; textile dyeing and finishing equipment; weaving and knitting machinery and accessories; garment manufacturing equipment; and textile chemicals and dyes.
The exhibition will once again offer the region's industry professionals a unique opportunity to meet, see the latest technological innovations from the world's leading manufacturers of textile, garment and knitting machinery in action, and receive first-hand advice with technical support. It will also provide experts with a forum to discuss the industry's challenges and prospects for further sustainable development. At their stands, participants will present their products designed to help the region's manufacturers remain competitive and become more agile, energy-efficient and financially resilient.
A highlight of the exhibition will be the innovative TextileExpo Uzbekistan Sourcing Hub Project, which will take place on 9 September. For the first time in Uzbekistan, textile manufacturers and buyers from retail chains, factories and specialist companies will be able to hold direct business-to-business negotiations in a digital format using Artificial Intelligence. Uzbek companies taking part in the negotiations will include UzTex Group, Artatex, Balabi Textile, Bakan Tex, Tashkent Cotton Textile and others.
