EKATERINBURG, May 13. /Dunyo IA/. Staff of the Consulate General and the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan held a field meeting with fellow citizens working at “Spetsavtobaza” LLC in the Sverdlovsk Oblast, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The meeting was attended by citizens of Uzbekistan temporarily engaged in labour activities in the field of landscaping.

During the event, fellow citizens were provided with detailed clarifications on consular and legal issues, including the issuance of passports, the use of documents issued in Uzbekistan within the territory of Russia, as well as other pressing matters.

The citizens were also informed about the policy pursued by the leadership of our country, which is aimed at protecting the rights and interests of citizens of Uzbekistan regardless of their location abroad, as well as the care being shown for compatriots.

Participants of the meeting were reminded of the necessity to comply with Russian legislation, public order norms, and responsible behavior during their stay abroad. Special attention was paid to the issues of countering religious extremism, terrorism, illicit drug trafficking, as well as the risks associated with illegal activities on social networks.

Representatives of the Consulate General also warned citizens against participating in armed conflicts on the territory of foreign states, including as part of foreign armies and private military companies. It was emphasized that such actions entail criminal liability in accordance with the legislation of Uzbekistan.

At the conclusion of the meeting, fellow citizens expressed their gratitude for the events being conducted, as well as for the attention and care provided by the leadership of Uzbekistan to citizens living and working abroad.
