DUBAI, September 16. /Dunyo IA/.  With the assistance of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan, a compatriot who found himself in a difficult life situation in the UAE has been returned to his homeland, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the Consulate General, citizen U.R. arrived in the UAE for employment purposes. However, prior to traveling abroad, he did not apply to the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan and, upon arrival in the Emirates, began searching for a job independently.

Unable to find a suitable vacancy, the compatriot faced financial difficulties. As a result, he found himself in a dire situation, having lost his means for accommodation and food, as well as the opportunity to purchase an air ticket to return to Uzbekistan.

Diplomats from the Consulate General held a discussion with the citizen and thoroughly assessed his situation. He was provided with temporary accommodation and foodand subsequently received the necessary assistance to fly from Dubai to Uzbekistan.

In this regard, citizens planning to work abroad are strongly advised to contact the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan in advance. Through the agency, individuals can receive assistance for official and safe employment abroad, as well as information on available vacancies, employer contacts and the processing of required documents.
