MINSK, April 6. /Dunyo IA/. A delegation from Uzbekistan participated in the 27th International Exhibition and Fair of Tourism Services "Отдых-2025", reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The Uzbek delegation included representatives from the Tourism Committee, various Uzbek tourism companies, employees of Uzbekistan Airways, and industry entrepreneurs.

As part of the exhibition, the Embassy of Uzbekistan organized a stand showcasing the country's tourism potential. Additionally, engaging presentations were held, and a captivating concert program immersed guests in the atmosphere of the East, rich with magic and ancient traditions. Visitors were invited to enjoy traditional Uzbek dishes, which became a true gastronomic discovery for the attendees.

Minister of Sport and Tourism of Belarus, Sergey Kovalchuk, during his visit to Uzbekistan’s stand, shared with industry professionals and international guests his experience of vacationing in Uzbekistan, highlighting the country’s tourism advantages.

Deputy Minister of Sport and Tourism of Belarus, Oleg Andreychik, specifically emphasized that Uzbekistan is a country with a unique cultural and historical heritage, where ancient civilizations and cultures have flourished for centuries, leaving a profound impact on world history. He noted that Uzbek cuisine and its traditions, widely known beyond the country, not only represent the rich flavors of the East but also serve as a bright symbol of the hospitality and warmth characteristic of the Uzbek people.

At the conclusion of the exhibition, the delegation of Uzbekistan held productive negotiations with the Ministry of Sport and Tourism of Belarus, local tour operators, and representatives of the tourism industry, discussing the prospects for implementing mutually beneficial projects. These initiatives are aimed at opening new horizons for cooperation and strengthening tourism ties between the two countries.
