Uzbekistan promotes cultural and tourism potential in Poland

The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Poland, in cooperation with traveler and speaker Krzysztof Kriger, organized a presentation titled “Uzbekistan – Ancient Cities, Eternal Impressions” at the Music Palace in the city of Jarocin (Greater Poland Voivodeship, Poland), reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The event was attended by representatives of the city administration, local cultural and humanitarian institutions, Polish artisans, and the general public. Krzysztof Kriger delivered a vivid presentation on the historical monuments of the Khorezm, Samarkand, and Bukhara regions, highlighting their significance in the world cultural heritage, initiatives in eco-tourism in the city of Nukus and around the Aral Sea, as well as contemporary tourism projects. He shared engaging stories and impressions of Uzbekistan’s rich culture, the hospitality of its people, the unique atmosphere of its cities and markets, and Uzbek cuisine, which he experienced during his travels across the country.
The presentation was complemented by fascinating observations and narratives. A special exhibition corner was organized for guests, showcasing Uzbekistan’s cultural traditions and tourism opportunities. Exhibits included examples of applied arts created by local craftsmen, traditional paintings, silk products, and photographs illustrating the customs and daily life of the Uzbek people. Attendees also received informational materials, including brochures and flyers covering Uzbekistan’s history, culture, and tourism potential.
The event aimed to introduce residents of Polish regions to Uzbekistan’s rich cultural heritage and tourism potential abroad, foster interest in the country, and promote the further development of cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Uzbekistan and Poland. According to Krzysztof Kriger, Uzbekistan is a country with many unexplored attractions for travelers, offering unforgettable experiences.
At the conclusion of the meeting, guests were served traditional Uzbek dishes, including plov, samsa, and various sweets. Attendees expressed their gratitude for the high level of organization and the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the event.
