ТASHKENT, February 27. /Dunyo IA/.   Today, Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan hosted an official ceremony for the handover of the painting “Ertaknamo Bukhoro” (“Fairy-tale Bukhara”) as a gift to the Museum of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The painting, created by renowned Uzbek artist Mirvokhid Mirsaidov in close cooperation with the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, reflects the rich historical and cultural heritage of our country.

The ceremony was attended by the leadership of the Academy of Arts, headed by Chairman Akmal Nur, as well as officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, representatives of the cultural community and invited guests.

“Events like this have been held before and I am certain we will continue our cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and our country's diplomatic missions abroad, - said Akmal Nur, Chairman of the Academy of Arts and People's Artist of Uzbekistan, during the ceremony. - It is through our embassies that the world learns about Uzbekistan and our country's culture. To this end, we are making every effort to increase the number of people interested in our culture”.
