ROME, December 23. /Dunyo IA/. Italy’s leading newspaper, “Corriere della Sera”, has published an article highlighting Uzbekistan’s tourism potential, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The article notes that recently, Uzbekistan has become one of the top destinations for travellers seeking to explore historic cities. In our view, the first stop should be the Khiva Oasis, a UNESCO World Heritage site. From there, visitors can continue to Bukhara, home to historic mosques, madrasahs and palaces of ancient rulers.
The piece also highlights Samarkand and Shahrisabz, cities revived under the legacy of the great conqueror Amir Timur, which leave a lasting impression on visitors. The article concludes that the capital city, Tashkent, where history and modernity blend harmoniously, is also an excellent destination for travellers.
