Diplomats of Uzbekistan hold online meeting with young compatriots studying in Jordan

AMMAN, April 14. /Dunyo IA/. Embassy of Uzbekistan in Saudi Arabia organized an online meeting with Uzbek students studying at the International Islamic University “Jamiat al-Uloom al-Islamia al-Alamia” and University of Jordan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The main objective of the meeting was to brief students on the ongoing socio-economic, educational and scientific reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan, as well as to provide guidance on personal safety amid the deterioration of the regional situation and to explain the procedures for consular registration.
Participants were provided with information on Uzbekistan entering a new stage of development and the implementation of large-scale reforms and state programs aimed at the country’s sustainable growth. Special attention was paid to the principles of religious freedom, tolerance and the transparency of state policy, as well as the opportunities offered by leading educational and scientific centers, including the Center of Islamic Civilization, the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, School of Hadith Science and International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan.
Specific achievements in the field of education were highlighted, including the opening of more than 80 new higher education institutions, expanded admission opportunities, and the availability of studies at branches of foreign universities.
It was emphasized that Uzbekistan is progressively becoming a major educational hub, offering youth extensive opportunities for learning and professional growth.
During the meeting, students were advised to take a responsible approach to their studies, strive for professional development, and apply their acquired knowledge for the benefit of the country. The participants highly appreciated the conditions being created for the youth and expressed their gratitude for the ongoing support.
The students were briefed on the necessity of registering with the consulate, with an emphasis on the fact that many citizens remain underinformed about its benefits. All participants were recommended to complete their registration in a timely manner.
Following the meeting, the necessary guidance and consultations on consular and legal matters were provided. Embassy reaffirmed its commitment to providing continued comprehensive support to the citizens of Uzbekistan and called for active engagement.
