Ambassador of Uzbekistan holds open dialogue with compatriots in Saxony-Anhalt

HALLE, April 2. /Dunyo IA/. Uzbek diplomats, led by Ambassador Dilshod Akhatov, paid a working visit to the German city of Halle, located in the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
As part of the visit, official meetings were held with the city administration and an open dialogue was organized with compatriots who are working, studying or undergoing professional training in the region.
During the trip, the Ambassador held meetings with the Lord Mayor of Halle, Alexander Vogt, as well as with the Honorary Consul of Uzbekistan in the federal states of Lower Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt and board member of “GP Günter Papenburg AG”, Angela Papenburg.
The parties focused on the further development of trade, economic, investment, and humanitarian cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany at the regional level.
In particular, an exchange of views took place on organizing safe, orderly, and legal labor migration, training Uzbek youth in professions based on the advanced German dual education system, implementing joint economic projects and strengthening cultural and educational ties. The parties also discussed accelerating the preparation of Uzbek citizens in the German language and vocational skills according to global market demands.
The Ambassador also met with compatriots working and studying at the city's enterprises. He acquainted himself with their living conditions, workplaces, and other opportunities created for their comprehensive growth.
During an open and sincere conversation, the Ambassador briefed the participants on the consistent reforms, updates, and results achieved across all sectors of life in our country.
Information and relevant consultations were provided on all questions of interest to compatriots, as well as on specific socio-legal topics.
During the dialogue, Honorary Consul Angela Papenburg provided information on the organization of specialized language courses and social projects aimed at the rapid adaptation of Uzbek migrants and their family members to German society.
It was noted that this project serves not only for language learning but also as a venue for mutual communication, consultation, and family support. She informed that Uzbek citizens living in the city and their family members are welcome to participate in the center's programs. According to the program, the center offers specialized language courses for parents with young children, advisory meetings and the tradition of shared family breakfasts.
