New direct flight route opens between Tashkent and Lahore

LAHORE, February 11. /Dunyo IA/. The Uzbek private airline “Centrum Air” has announced the launch of flights to Pakistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Starting April this year, the airline will operate direct flights between Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan and Lahore, Pakistan’s second-largest city. “Tashkent – Lahore”| route is expected to run twice weekly.
In recent years, the number of flights between Uzbekistan and Pakistan has grown significantly.
In particular, the national carrier “Uzbekistan Airways” operates four weekly flights between Tashkent and Islamabad, as well as Tashkent and Lahore. To date, these flights have been used by over 30,000 passengers. In 2025 alone, approximately 19,000 Pakistani citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism, taking advantage of these connections.
The airline emphasized that the launch of another direct air link between Tashkent and Lahore will support the development of trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as tourism, scientific, academic and educational exchanges and cultural-humanitarian ties between the two countries.
Founded in 2023, “Centrum Air” currently operates a fleet of 14 aircraft.
