At the initiative of the Head of State, this sacred pilgrimage site was rebuilt in line with the high standing and profound legacy of Imam Bukhari in the Islamic world. All necessary amenities have been created for visitors. This year, on the eve of the Ramadan Hayit holiday, the complex reopened to pilgrims. As a result of large-scale construction work, the capacity of the Imam Bukhari Complex has increased from 12,000 to 65,000 visitors per day.

According to available data, in the first month following its reopening, the complex welcomed more than one million local and international visitors.
