Uzbek Citizen stranded in financial hardship in Hungary repatriated to Uzbekistan

BUDAPEST, April 27. /Dunyo IA/. Diplomats of the Embassy of Uzbekistan regularly carry out work to protect the rights and legitimate interests of Uzbek citizens working abroad, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Thus, compatriot A.D. reached out to the Consular Section of the Embassy in Budapest with a request for assistance in returning home from Hungary.

The citizen reported that his situation was caused by the improper fulfillment of obligations by an employer in Hungary, who failed to meet agreements, including the processing of necessary documents.

As a result, the citizen found himself in a difficult financial situation and was unable to return home on his own.

Taking the situation into account, Embassy established working contact with the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan.

Following these efforts, an air ticket was purchased for A.D. free of charge using funds from the Uzbekistan Migrant Workers Support and Assistance Fund to facilitate his return home.
