ТASHKENT, October 3. /Dunyo IА/. A delegation from JSC "Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex", operating under the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of Uzbekistan, recently paid a visit to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which has consistently ranked among the world’s leading educational institutions over the past decade, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the visit, representatives of JSC Uzbekistan Technological Metals Plant (UTMP), together with staff from the University of Business and Science (Uzbekistan), held a meeting with Dimitris Bertsimas, Vice Provost for Open Learning and Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
During the discussions, an agreement was signed to cooperate on the training of personnel in advanced technologies.
According to the agreement, an initial group of 100 engineers from the plant will undergo training on the MIT educational platform. This initiative will provide them with advanced knowledge in technological innovations and enable them to apply global best practices.
