First Ministerial Meeting between Central Asia and Germany convenes in Berlin

ТASHKENT, February 12. /Dunyo IA/. On February 11, Bakhtiyor Saidov, Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan participated in the first ministerial meeting of the “Central Asia – Germany” format, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Today in Berlin, we held the first-ever Ministerial Meeting in the “Central Asia - Germany” format, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - We view the launch of this mechanism as a milestone that gives our partnership a more systematic and practical character.

Central Asia today is a dynamic region at the heart of Eurasia, steadily strengthening its unity, economic potential and global role.

We emphasized the need to elevate investment, technological and trade cooperation, expand collaboration in critical raw materials, “green” energy, climate, transport connectivity and logistics and to deepen business dialogue.

Confident that today’s meeting will give new momentum to our strategic partnership and prepare substantive outcomes for the next “Central Asia - Germany Summit”.

Express our sincere gratitude to Foreign Minister H.E. Johann Wadephul and his team for the excellent organization of the Ministerial”.
