Warsaw hosts talks on deepening Uzbek–Polish agricultural partnership

WARSAW, February 22. /Dunyo IA/. Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Poland Amirsaid Agzamkhodjaev, met with the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Poland, Stefan Krajewski, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The talks were also attended by the Chief Veterinary Officer of Poland, Paweł Meyer and Deputy Director General of the National Support Centre for Agriculture (KOWR), Lucjan Zwolak.

During the talks, it was noted that the visit of Stefan Krajewski to Uzbekistan in November 2025, as well as the first meeting of the Joint Working Group, marked an important step toward intensifying bilateral cooperation.

The parties expressed confidence that the consistent implementation of the agreements reached would elevate cooperation in the agricultural sector to a qualitatively new level and contribute to further increasing bilateral trade volumes.

It was also reported that the Polish side plans to participate with a national pavilion in the international exhibition "UzFood 2026", which will be held on 1–3 April 2026 in Tashkent.

Particular attention was given to the development of logistics infrastructure and the diversification of trade routes, which, according to both sides, are of key importance for strengthening bilateral partnership.
