NUKUS, February 24. /Dunyo IA/. A presentation of the investment, export and tourism potential of the region is underway at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Karakalpakstan for representatives of the diplomatic corps and international organizations accredited in the Republic of Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

More than 40 diplomats and representatives of international organizations are participating in the event.

Farhod Ermanov, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, provided the guests with detailed information on the extensive socio-economic reforms being implemented in the region under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. He also outlined existing opportunities for investors, as well as the prospects for the development of industry, agriculture, tourism and export sectors.

Special attention was given to the creation of a favourable business climate, infrastructure development and state measures supporting entrepreneurship.
