The event was organized in honour of the UNESCO–Uzbekistan Beruni Prize, established to support research in the ethics of artificial intelligence. The discussion was held under the theme: “From Research to Communities: Bridging Generations for Ethical and Inclusive AI for All.”
The meeting focused on the role of youth in promoting ethical and inclusive artificial intelligence, as well as on fostering intergenerational knowledge exchange.
Participants included laureates of the first Beruni Prize: Claudia Roda from the American University of Paris, Virgilio de Almeida from the Federal University of Minas Gerais in Brazil, as well as Zeng Xun and Shen Shuyan from Tsinghua University in China. Experts from UNESCO, representatives of youth organizations, international institutions, and civil society also took part in the event.

Particular attention was given to the role of the Beruni Prize as a mechanism for strengthening international cooperation in the field of ethical AI. The laureates presented their research and demonstrated how their findings can contribute to digital inclusion, the protection of user rights, and increased trust in technology.
