Uzbekistan makes first-ever export of pomegranates, quince and persimmons to the United Kingdom

LONDON, December 24. /Dunyo IA/. For the first time, pomegranates, quinces and persimmons from Uzbekistan have been exported to the United Kingdom as part of the latest shipment of Uzbek agricultural products, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
A total of three tonnes of produce was delivered via Uzbekistan Airways on the Tashkent-London route. The exporter responsible for the shipment was Quva-Agro Star LLC.
British wholesale buyers praised the high quality and taste of the Uzbek fruits, expressing interest in purchasing larger volumes in the future.
Currently, Uzbek enterprises export more than 35 types of agricultural products to the UK market. Over the first ten months of 2025, the export of Uzbek fruits and vegetables to the United Kingdom has increased 2.5 times compared to the same period last year.
