Far Eastern Federal University of Russia seeks cooperation with Educational and Research Institutions of Uzbekistan

VLADIVOSTOK, October 10. /Dunyo IA/.   Consulate General of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with Marina Dmitrieva, Deputy Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies at the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU), Candidate of Political Sciences and Associate Professor, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting, parties discussed perspectives for developing cooperation in the field of higher education. An agreement was reached to organize “roundtables” and masterclasses for more than 200 students from Uzbekistan currently studying at FEFU.

Marina Dmitrieva expressed interest in establishing partnerships between the Far Eastern Federal University and the International Institute for Central Asia, requesting practical assistance in concluding a relevant cooperation agreement.

Following the meeting, the sides also agreed to explore opportunities for establishing partnerships between FEFU and higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan, organizing exchanges of experience and professional competencies in various fields, and facilitating the participation of university specialists in international educational forums hosted in Uzbekistan.
