BRNO, October 20. /Dunyo IA/.   A presentation dedicated to the history, culture, national traditions, and tourism opportunities of Uzbekistan was held at Masaryk University in the Czech city of Brno, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Event, organized with the assistance of a representative from the Uzbekistan Students Association, was attended by the university's leadership and faculty, staff from the Czech Ministry of Education, representatives of local travel companies, and Czech travellers who had previously visited Uzbekistan.

Participants were informed about the historical and cultural heritage of the country, with special attention paid to the tourism potential of Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva. Guests were also shown video materials showcasing the historical monuments and modern tourism infrastructure of Uzbekistan.

Czech tourists shared their impressions of their trips, talking about the cities they visited, national traditions, and the hospitality of the country's residents.

At the conclusion of the event, a tasting of Uzbek national cuisine took place, during which guests were served pilaf, samsa, and traditional sweets.
