MINSK, October 1. /Dunyo IA/. An information briefing dedicated to the results of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s visit to Belarus and the development of bilateral strategic partnership was held for representatives of leading Belarusian media outlets, journalistic organizations, and specialized higher education institutions, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event brought together representatives of leading media outlets, including “Minsk-Novosti”, “Minskaya Pravda”, “Belarus Segodnya”, “The BelTA” news agency, “Mir”, “STV” and “Stolitsa” television channels, as well as journalism education institutions.

Participants were briefed on the key agreements reached during the visit and the main areas of Uzbek-Belarusian strategic partnership.

The meeting also featured a presentation of The Greatness of the Nation (“Millat Shavkati”), a book by Kudratilla Rafikov, Senator of the Oliy Majlis and political scientist. The publication examines the reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan, socio-economic transformations, and the development of bilateral relations.

Belarusian representatives noted the increased intensity of contacts between the two countries and expressed readiness to further develop cooperation and implement joint projects.

Particular attention was paid to expanding information cooperation and media coverage of political, economic, social, and cultural developments in Uzbekistan and Belarus.
