Uzbek producers showcase products at online forum with the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry

• 121KUWAIT, May 13. /Dunyo IA/. Embassy of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, organized a virtual forum for food industry enterprises titled “Virtual Food Business Networking”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Due to the situation in the Middle East, as well as restrictions in air and ground transport communication, the event was held in an online format.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan, Uzbek food producers and Kuwaiti importers led by the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
During the forum, Uzbek exporters presented a wide range of their products, including confectionery and sweets, fresh and dried fruits and vegetables, spices, ice cream, mineral water, and other food industry products.
Special interest from Kuwaiti companies “Arabian Beverage Company” and “Updated Development” was shown in the products of such Uzbek producers as “Sabe Ice Cream”, “Zarqand” and “Chortoq” LLC.
Following the event, a Q&A session was held between entrepreneurs and importers, during which practical aspects of cooperation were discussed, as well as opportunities for expanding the supply of Uzbek products to the Middle Eastern market, including an analysis of existing transport corridors.
The parties confirmed their interest in holding such online formats of interaction on a regular basis.
