SAMARKAND, October 5. /Dunyo IA/. Following the 7th Congress of the Association of Asian Constitutional Courts and Equivalent Institutions (AACC), Samarkand Declaration was unanimously adopted, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Final document is aimed at strengthening the constitutional protection of human rights and freedoms in the context of the rapid development of digital technologies and artificial intelligence, ensuring the independence of judges, and developing international and interregional cooperation between constitutional control bodies.
Declaration also emphasizes the necessity of maintaining human control over the use of artificial intelligence in the judicial sphere, adhering to procedural guarantees and protecting personal data.
President of the Association, Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Uzbekistan Mirza-Ulugbek Abdusalomov noted the significance of the adopted document for strengthening the rule of law and advancing cooperation in the field of constitutional justice.
