ŞANLIURFA, October 7. /Dunyo IA/. Representatives of Uzbekistan participated in the international festival of aviation, space, and technology “Teknofest-2026”, which took place in the Turkish province of Şanlıurfa, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Teknofest” is one of Türkiye's largest international platforms for developing national technologies, attracting youth to science and innovation and supporting technological entrepreneurship.

Festival was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Technology of Türkiye in cooperation with the “T3 Vakfı” Foundation and its program covered aviation, space, artificial intelligence, robotics, unmanned aerial vehicles, rocket technologies, digital solutions and startups.

Within the framework of the event, technological competitions were held, attracting applications from 99 countries, with young developers presenting their projects in the finals across 61 main and 143 sub-categories.

Participants demonstrated developments in the fields of unmanned systems, satellites, rocket technologies, artificial intelligence, robotics, chip design, agriculture and healthcare, with representatives from countries such as France, China and Japan also participating in the festival.

Leading Turkish technology companies, including Baykar, Aselsan, Roketsan, Havelsan, Turkcell and Trendyol, presented their innovations at the venue, with projects in the defense industry, aviation and digital solutions drawing particular interest.

During the visit, a meeting was held with representatives of “T3 Vakfı”, where it was noted that work is already underway in Tashkent to establish a representative office of the foundation and develop a “Knowledge Center”.

Parties discussed the launch of educational programs to more broadly engage youth in modern technologies and “T3 Vakfı” expressed readiness to provide financial support for these initiatives.

Cooperation is expected to bring together technology companies, startups, investors, and scientific and educational institutions of Uzbekistan and Türkiye, bring innovative projects to international markets and strengthen Tashkent's position as a hub for technological startups in Central Asia.
