ANKARA, August 25. /Dunyo IA/. Diplomats from the Embassy of Uzbekistan held a meeting with renowned Turkish investor Hamid Aydin, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The investor, active in Turkiye and several foreign countries, discussed investment opportunities in Uzbekistan’s healthcare sector with Embassy representatives.
The Turkish entrepreneur intends to open an aesthetic medicine clinic in the "Tashkent City" complex in the capital, offering advanced procedures in cosmetology and plastic surgery. The total investment volume will amount to USD 1.2 million. The official opening of the clinic is scheduled for the end of this year.
This project is not the first undertaken by the entrepreneur in Uzbekistan’s healthcare sector. Notably, in 2020, the first "EKU" clinic was established in Tashkent based on Turkish expertise. In 2021, a branch was opened in Samarkand, followed by another in Urgench in 2023.
Currently, these clinics provide a wide range of services to Uzbek citizens, employing 12 Turkish and 70 Uzbek specialists.
- I am very pleased to contribute to the development of the 'EKU’ sector by investing 3.75 million US dollars in Uzbekistan’s healthcare system," said Hamid Aydin. "I am grateful for the support and care provided to foreign investors in your country. The fact that the head of your state pays special attention to the development of this sector motivates us to work even more effectively. We are confident that all our efforts, fully aligned with the concept of the respected President "Modern, Strong, and Prosperous Uzbekistan", will contribute to improving the quality of life for our peoples and further strengthening the bridges of friendship between our two countries.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Hamid Aydin shared his vision to build a modern hospital in Uzbekistan dedicated to treating women’s and children’s diseases and providing high-quality services to residents of Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries.
