TASHKENT, March 3. /Dunyo IA/. From June 16 to 19, 2026, the fifth anniversary Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF-2026) will be held in Tashkent, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan (MIIT), the forum serves as a key investment platform in Central Asia, bringing together global investors, government representatives, international financial institutions, and major business leaders,

The anniversary forum will build upon the strong momentum of the Fourth TIIF, held in June 2025. That event gathered over 8,000 participants, including nearly 3,000 international guests from 97 countries. The business program featured 36 panel sessions with more than 150 international speakers. As a result, investment agreements and trade contracts totalling over USD 30.5 billion were signed.

The forum once again demonstrated a high level of trust from leading global financial institutions.

Odile Renaud-Basso, President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), emphasized: “Participation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in platforms such as TIIF reflects our confidence in the long-term potential of Central Asia and our readiness to support sustainable development projects together with our Uzbek partners.”

Steffen Richter, Business President at Linde, highlighted the improving business climate:

“We see significant progress in improving conditions for foreign direct investment in Uzbekistan. This creates a solid foundation for strengthening long-term business cooperation in strategically important sectors.”

International investors paid particular attention to industrial development and the energy sector.

Nikolaus Knauf, Chairman of the Management Board of Knauf, stated: “We view Uzbekistan as a key production platform in Central Asia. The consistency of reforms and openness to investors provide a strong basis for long-term industrial presence.”

Klaus Mangold, Chairman of Mangold Consulting, also noted Uzbekistan’s industrial momentum: “There is no other country in Central Asia with such a strong determination to develop manufacturing.”

The scale of the forum was also recognized by leading global media. Mostefa Souag, Director General of Al Jazeera Media Network, observed: “We are witnessing serious transformational processes in Uzbekistan. The forum demonstrates the country’s openness to global dialogue and its readiness for active engagement with the international community.”

In addition to plenary sessions, the forum featured a large-scale industrial exhibition with the participation of more than 100 national manufacturers, as well as hundreds of B2B and B2G meetings. TIIF has firmly established itself as a platform where negotiations translate into concrete projects and strategic intentions evolve into signed investment agreements.

TIIF 2026 aims to consolidate achieved results and elevate the investment dialogue to a new level. Expanding the geography of participants, deepening sectoral tracks, and strengthening the practical focus of the program will form the core of the anniversary edition.

Today, the Tashkent International Investment Forum is more than an annual business event. It is an indicator of international capital confidence, an instrument for integrating Uzbekistan into global value chains, and a strategic platform for building long-term partnerships between Central Asia and global markets.

The anniversary forum in June 2026 will mark the culmination of this dynamic progress, reaffirming Uzbekistan’s status as one of the most active and promising investment hubs in the region.
